The Runestone Amateur Radio Club (RARC) is a nonprofit Amateur Radio organization, club call sign W0ALX, dedicated to assisting the community through radio communications, and the enjoyment, appreciation, and the sharing of knowledge and advancement of Amateur Radio. The purpose of this site is to provide club news and messages from the RARC Board to club members, and to present information that might be useful to HAMs anywhere.

Runestone Museum:

National Museum Day

The RARC will be commemorating the 122nd year of the Discovery of the Kensington Runestone on Sept 21 by setting up and operating at least 2 amateur radio stations inside the Runestone Museum grounds. Licensed amateurs are invited to come and assist with the operation. The basic plan for the day is:

7:30am Coffee/Breakfast at Brass Lantern

9:00am Set up antennas and radios inside Runestone Museum grounds

10:00am to 4pm Commence operations
